After the workshop, participants will have a better understanding of how yoga and tarot can foster a deep inner connection and build mindfulness and intuition.
Workshop materials:
-Yoga mat (required)
-Deck of tarot cards (optional)
-Journal and writing utensil (optional)
-Any other desired yoga props such as a blanket or blocks (optional)
CROW FAMILY ARM BALANCES

Come to learn or refine your crow pose and some variations. This family of postures is a great place to begin with arm balances. We’ll refine crow pose, side crow, one legged crow, and firefly.
We’ll start with an active practice to warm the body up and to feel the actions of these arm balances in other postures. Then we’ll break down each of these postures with and without props. There will be enough time for one-on-one feedback on each arm balance.
All levels are welcome!
UNDERSTANDING BACKBENDS

Want to dive deeper into backbends in your practice? Learn how to approach backbends while working towards wheel pose. Though we’ll focus on wheel, this workshop will also be about how to approach and find comfort and support in all backbends.
We’ll learn about the foundational principles behind wheel, explore preparatory poses to warm up the body for backbends, and play with many modifications for wheel.
BEGINNER YOGA SERIES
Have you wanted to start practicing yoga but aren't sure where to start? Or have you already started practicing but want to feel more confident in class? Then this series is for you.
The three hour and a half class will teach simple breathing techniques, a beginner flow, workshopping postures to get a feel for alignment, and include time for Q&A.
In each class, you'll learn not only yoga postures but we will have time to focus on your unique alignment with emphasis on the use of props and modifications. The goal of this series is for you to feel confident walking into most yoga classes as well as improve your flexibility, balance, and stamina.
ADDING BINDS TO YOUR PRACTICE

Want to dive deeper on binds in your yoga practice? Join me to learn or refine how and when to add binds to your practice.
Often binding in poses is easier than it looks but it can be challenging to know where all the body parts go. We’ll learn about the anatomy of these binds and break down the movements of the body in each binded pose. We’ll work on bound variations of extended side angle, crescent lunge twist, cow face and seated twists and play with modifications for them all.
